I am very sad to learn of Susie's passing. Susie became a great friend to me when I was new to Ankeny High School in 1969 after we had several classes together. Our senior year, we often snuck out to lunch at the local Pizza Hut -- got caught once by the Principal and got off with a stern warning. A few years after graduation, we were both legal secretaries in Des Moines and met for lunch several times. I moved away from Iowa, but I remember her just as she was so many years ago -- fun and joyful. I send my deepest condolences to Charlie and children. My her memory be a blessing.
