Judy was born on November 4, 1962, in Sheldon, to Cornie and Joan Siebersma. She attended Maple Valley High School, where she formed lifelong friendships that she treasured throughout her life.
Judi met Dennis Wieben in sixth grade, beginning a love story that would span a lifetime. Dennis and Judi were married on Judi’s 21st birthday, beginning a life together rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering devotion, sharing 42 wonderful years of marriage. Judi was a deeply devoted mother to her two daughters, Jamie and Nicky, pouring her heart, strength, and endless support into every part of their lives.
In 1991, Judi and Dennis made their home in Ankeny, where Judi began a remarkable career as a real estate agent serving the Des Moines metro for more than 34 years. She truly loved helping people find a place to call home and had a rare gift for making everyone she met feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her kindness, energy, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on countless clients, coworkers, neighbors, and friends.
Judi lived life with enthusiasm and joy. She was a passionate fan of the Iowa State Cyclones, especially the swimming and basketball programs, and could often be found cheering loudly from the stands, dancing with excitement, and bringing smiles to those around her. Nothing, however, brought her more happiness than time spent with her five beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She treasured every chance to escape to the beach where the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun brought her a deep sense of peace and happiness. Some of her favorite memories were made traveling alongside Dennis in their fifth wheel, exploring new places, sharing simple adventures, and creating lasting memories together on the open road. Whether it was a weekend getaway or a long trip filled with laughter and stories, Judi cherished the time spent with the people she loved. At home, she found comfort in the quiet companionship of her faithful dog, Bayley, who was never far from her side and brought her constant joy, comfort, and unconditional love.
Judi will be remembered for her generous heart, contagious energy, and the way she made people feel loved, simply by being herself. Her presence filled every room with warmth, and her memory will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.
Judi is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; her daughters, Jamie Wieben and Nicky (Jason) Christophersen; her grandchildren, Curtis Stinson Jr., Brianna Stinson, Jacey Christophersen, Maddy Christophersen and Payton Christophersen; her mother-in-law, Donna Wieben; her brother, Terry (Kate) Siebersma and their children Amy (Tim) Christianson, LeAnn Siebersma, Jenny (Neil) Kenney, Brad (Shelby) Siebersma and Jeff (Tami) Siebersma; her brother-in-law, Dean (Tami) Wieben; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornie and Joan Siebersma; her father-in-law, Delbert Wieben; and her brother-in-law, Doug Wieben.
The family of Judi wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered love, prayers, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
