Holly was born on December 14, 1965, in Monmouth, Illinois, to Harry and Konnie Bycroft of Roseville, Illinois. She grew up in Roseville and was a proud graduate of Roseville High School. A talented musician, Holly earned a music scholarship to Monmouth College, where she pursued her passion for music while beginning her higher education. She later completed her studies at Drake University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Holly built a successful career in banking that spanned many years, concluding with her work in the Technology Department at Wells Fargo. While she was dedicated to her professional career, her greatest joy was always found in her family, faith, friendships, and serving others.

Holly was known for her infectious laughter, warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering faith. She loved live music, playing the piano, singing, and anything related to the music of the 1980s. She rarely passed up the chance to attend a concert and create memories with those she loved. A devoted animal lover, Holly had a special place in her heart for cats and treasured the companionship of her beloved Labrador Retriever, Cali. Her adoring cat, Raymond, was never far from her side and held a special place in her heart. Whether spending time with Cali, cuddling with Raymond, or caring for the many animals she loved throughout her life, they brought her immense joy and comfort.

Music was one of Holly's many gifts. She shared her talent with many piano students over the years and was deeply loved by those she taught. She also dedicated much of her life to volunteering and serving her community. Her volunteer work included the Boy Scouts, Hope Ministries, Freedom for Youth, The Salvation Army, and numerous local community events.

Most importantly, Holly loved Jesus and was passionate about sharing His love with others. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, sang in church choirs and praise teams, and played both piano and keyboard in worship. Her faith was reflected not only in her words but in the way she cared for and encouraged everyone around her.

Holly will be remembered for her kindness, her servant's heart, her joyful spirit, and the love she poured into her family, friends, students, and community. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and the faith she shared so freely.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David Vaughn Rimathe; her cherished sons, Hunter and Colton Rimathe; her parents, Harry and Konnie Bycroft; her sister, Michelle Bycroft Collins of Evansville, Indiana; her brother, Timothy (Mindy) Bycroft of Kenosha, Wisconsin; her father-in-law, Wayne Rimathe of Slater, Iowa; and her sisters- and brothers-in-laws, Dianne (Sharm) Wenndt of Davenport, Iowa, Lisa Rimathe of Grimes, Iowa, Steven (Doris) Rimathe of Madrid, Iowa, and Kristin (Doug) Newstrom of Omaha, Nebraska. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles who held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Lynne Rimathe Robus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Ministries in honor of Holly's life and her passion for serving others.

So sorry to hear of Holly's passing. I worked with her on and off at Wells Fargo for many years. In fact she was one of the first people I met. She made me feel so welcomed. Even though we didn't work together all the time, it was always fun to run into her in the hallways & spend the next half hour catching up! My daughters were also lucky enough to take piano lessons with Holly. She made it so much fun for them! Holly was such a light in this world & will be deeply missed. I have made a donation to Hope Ministries in her name.
