Obituary For Dustin Beyer

Dustin Thane Beyer, 54, of Slater, Iowa, passed away on December 11, 2024. Dustin was born to Ruth and Charles Beyer in Des Moines, Iowa, on September 16, 1970.

He was married to Krista Jean Beyer on May 25, 1996, and enjoyed over 28 years of marriage. Dustin was a truck driver for Helland Trucking for the last year and a former mechanic and small business owner.

In his free time, Dustin enjoyed car shows, truck pulls, and working on any number of vehicles or toys at the Beyer family home. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bonfires, or any excuse to spend quality time with family. He was quick to laugh and intentional about spending time with those he loved. His calm, but outgoing demeanor brought both peace and energy to his home; his easy smile and ornery wit were contagious. He was quick to make friends and was loved by many.

He is remembered and survived by his wife Krista Jean Beyer, daughter McKenzie Lynn Beyer, son Matthew James Beyer, daughter Rebecca Ann Beyer, sister Wendy Turner and Tim Smith, and father Charles Arlyn Beyer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Beyer.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Memorial Services of Iowa, 4208 N. Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA with burial to follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
