Dung Huu Nguyen68, passed away on July 16, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (510 E. First Street, Ankeny, IA). Interment will take place at Ankeny Memorial Gardens.

Dung was born on October 30, 1957, in Vietnam. He married his wife, Lieu Thi Nguyen and they had two children, a son, Due Nguyen, and a daughter, Minh Thu.

He made his career working as a grocery stocker for Hy-Vee Food Stores.

He is survived by his wife, Lieu Nguyen; children, Due Nguyen and Minh Thu; grandchildren, Steven and Viviana; and many other loving family members and friends.
