Nicol was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She had a warm heart, a caring nature, and a genuine ability to make people feel loved and supported. Nicol was always there for the people in her life and was never more than a phone call away when someone needed to talk, a listening ear, or simply a friend.
Nicol was born November 26, 1978, and was the daughter of Teresa (Mark) Myer and Rodney (Barb) Mallison. She was a beloved sister to Denise (Timothy) Whittall, Caleb (Diane) Mallison, Erica (Nick) Graves, and Boyce (Courtney) Harris. Family was incredibly important to Nicol, and she treasured the time she spent with those closest to her.
She was a devoted mother to Brandon (Ashley) Jacobs and Britney Jacobs. Nicol took great pride in her children and loved them deeply. She was also a cherished grandmother to Beau and Brody Jacobs, whom she adored. Her grandchildren brought her tremendous joy, and she loved every opportunity to spend time with them and watch them grow.
Nicol worked at 3M in Ames, where she spent years building friendships and relationships with those around her. Outside of work, she enjoyed attending Sturgis every year with her late boyfriend Ted Dunkel. Nicol also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and enjoying life's simple moments. She was known for always having a Pepsi in her hand and could often be found enjoying a good conversation with someone she cared about.
Nicol had a generous spirit and a strong devotion to the people she loved. She was the person others could count on, always willing to answer a phone call, lend an ear, or spend time with family and friends. Her kindness, loyalty, sense of humor, and love for others made her a special part of many lives.
Nicol was truly one of the best as they come. She leaves behind countless memories and a legacy of love that will continue through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, she will forever be remembered for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the many moments she shared with those who meant the most to her.
