Carolyn Lipscomb, age 80, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, at Via of Carlisle Senior Living Campus. Carolyn was born in Iowa and lived there most of her life.

A graveside service will be held August 30, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Ankeny Memorial Gardens (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd).

Carolyn loved spending time with her family and friends. She was part of the Rainbow girls and later Eastern star. She loved cleaning and painting ceramics and loved crafting. Carolyn was loved by so many and always had a positive outlook on life. She survived polio and cancer.

Carolyn is survived by her brothers, Mickey (Connie) Lipscomb and Jeff (Sheryl) Lipscomb; and nieces and nephews and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Elvis Lipscomb.
