Adrien was a beacon of light - caring, loving, and compassionate to all who knew him. His sense of humor and quick wit brought laughter and joy to every gathering.

He lived for the outdoors, finding adventure in every corner of the world, whether hiking, sightseeing or simply soaking in the beauty of nature.

A creative soul, Adrien expressed himself in countless ways—from his unique sense of style, especially his ever-growing shoe collection, to his spontaneous spirit and love for travel. He was a true foodie, always eager to try new flavors and share meals with those he loved. His passion for music was ever-present, filling his life and the lives of those around him with rhythm and song. Adrien was always up for a drink, dancing, and celebrating life with those he loved most.

Family was at the heart of everything he did. Raised by his devoted mother, Marla, and stepfather, Jorge Borges, Adrien grew up surrounded by love, guidance, and unwavering support. As a devoted big brother, he was a guiding light and source of strength.

He cherished his role as Tio to Lydianah, Andre Jr. and Taleah Castine, showering them with affection and creating cherished memories together. His strong family values and deep connections extended to his core group of eight lifelong friends, who became his chosen family.

Adventurous, strong-minded, witty, and compassionate, Adrien inspired everyone around him to live fully and love deeply. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him.

Adrien is survived by his parents, Marla and Jorge Borges and John Chak; siblings, Shayla (Andre) Castine, Javier Borges and Newell Chak; nieces, Lydianah and Taleah Castine; and nephews, Andre Castine, Jr., and Kyro Chak.

Adrien is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Yon; uncles, Savuth Chak, and Sambo Chak; grandparents, Yuon Sing and Chak Phuong; and great grandparents, Juan and Lucia Chapa.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Unity Point Hospice for the exceptional care for Adrien during his final days.
