Born in Early, Iowa, on January 28, 1944, Dick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was faithful to his time reading the Bible every morning, going to prayer groups and being active with his church. He had an avid passion for bicycling and went on RAGBRAI multiple times, mostly on his favorite recumbent bike. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
