Richard “Rich” Huber, 82, passed away on March 4, 2025, in Des Moines, IA.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50021) Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church (1102 NW Weigel Dr, Ankeny, IA 50023).

Rich was born on November 11, 1942, to Thomas and Mildred Huber. Born and raised in Storm Lake, IA, he graduated from St. Mary’s High School. On February 17, 1968, he married Marcia “Marty” Huber.

Rich worked as a claims auditor for Aetna and later for Huber Construction. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling.

Rich is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marty Huber; son, Kyle Huber; and his grandson, Kael Huber. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mildred Huber; son, Jeff Huber; and brother, Thomas Huber.
